A tetsubin quietly used in everyday tea moments

Autumn Nut Arare is a cast iron kettle made for boiling water in daily use.
Its softly rounded form, reminiscent of ripened nuts, is covered with generously sized arare patterns across the entire body. Rather than aiming for decorative emphasis, this tetsubin is designed to settle naturally into everyday tea time, offering a calm and familiar presence.

A rounded form and a gentle, grounded presence

The body features a full, rounded silhouette that conveys both volume and stability.
Each arare pattern is intentionally large and evenly spaced, allowing every individual dot to be clearly perceived. The spout is formed with a gentle curve, while the handle rises in a broad arc, bringing the entire form into balanced harmony. The result is a calm and reliable usability that fits naturally into daily movements.

Bringing clarity to each individual arare

In this piece, the arare pattern is deliberately expressed at a larger scale.
For this reason, particular care is taken during production to ensure that each individual motif remains distinct and does not become visually lost. Within the restrained overall appearance, layers of careful judgment and handcraft accumulate to give each arare its presence and clarity.
