An Iron Ornament Carrying the Presence of Water
Water Bird is an iron ornament created for interior and decorative use.
Its form depicts a water bird resting quietly on the surface of water, reduced to an essential and restrained shape. By removing all excess elements, the silhouette naturally draws the eye and leaves a calm, lingering presence within the space.
A Form That Balances Sharpness and Tactility
The overall volume is smooth and continuous, while the beak and head are defined by clear, deliberate edges.
During the polishing process, careful attention is given to preserving the sharpness that forms the core of the silhouette. At the same time, adjustments are made so that the iron never becomes excessively sharp. The result balances visual tension with the gentle consideration characteristic of handcraft.
A Small Presence Creating a Quiet Rhythm
The ornament is designed to stand on its own, without the need for a special base.
Placed on a shelf, desk, or windowsill, it adds a quiet rhythm to the space without asserting itself. It can be enjoyed on its own or harmonized easily with other iron ornaments.
