A lacquered spoon that blends quietly into everyday meals
This spoon is made with the intention of being naturally used in daily dining.
It is not a special utensil, but one you can reach for without hesitation at the table—for soup, desserts, yogurt, and other everyday dishes. Rather than demanding attention, it is designed to fit smoothly into the hand and mouth, becoming part of the meal without conscious effort.
A shape and lightness you’ll want to use every day
The handle forms a gentle curve that settles naturally into the hand.
When brought to the mouth, the contact is smooth and free of discomfort. Weighing only about 10 grams, the spoon feels light even during longer meals, never interrupting the rhythm of eating. Its smooth, matte surface is soft to the fingertips, offering a quiet sense of comfort each time it is used.
A gentle feel created through careful handwork
Although small in size, this spoon involves many hand-finished processes.
Particular time is devoted to applying the lacquer evenly and repeatedly polishing the surface to refine the mouthfeel. Because of its compact size, mechanical processing is difficult, and most steps are carried out by hand. This accumulation of careful work results in the spoon’s smooth texture and gentle usability.
