The Art of "Sōgata": Defying Mass Production

Nambu Ironware

Nambu Ironware has a history of 400 years. While mass-produced casting uses sand molds made by machines, the traditional "Sōgata casting" (Crafted Mold) technique creates molds by hand using a potter's wheel.
This method allows for incredibly sharp lines and thin edges that industrial products cannot mimic.
